Hi Steve and Bovena

What a great time we had at the Saturday matinee last weekend...especially my friend's six year old daughter! We are introducing her to magic, and she really can't stop talking about it. You had a tough audience that day -- and you made the best of it...a true pro.

I will recommend your show to all my friends who may be visiting Santa Monica.

I have told brother Paul how much we enjoyed it and how great it was to see you again after a lifetime of
years growing up in the Valley.

Bo has a wonderful calming fairy-like presence for the show...I think you should keep her around.

Hope to tell you about my Thailand travels in a few months.

Janet great seeing you too, when Paul is back in the country tell him owes us a visit I don't think he's seen our show, or even been to Magicopolis, for at least a few years. Funny how things come full circle, back in the day you assisted Paul at kids birthday party shows, decades later you assist by running Paul's biz. Seeing you brought back memories of Paul and I fooling around with magic when we were ten years old.

As to tough shows, every matinee is half kids and I’m often asked by parents how I get those kids to love me. Here’s the secret: I don’t talk down to them, expect them to act like adults, or force education down their throats. I’m simply one of them. And I’ve been lucky enough to meet some of those kids years later as adults.

Have fun in Thailand and don't do anything I wouldn't do.

Let’s talk about love. Yes, love. Because as long as there’s love, there are going to be people. And as long as there are people, there’s going to be a world. And as long as there’s a world, there’s going to be a Magicopolis Valentine’s Day celebration. Monday February 14 / 8PM

Two Hour Show, Open Bar, Complimentary Hors d’oerves, Champagne Toast, Surprises… Be there or be square.

I keep seeing you on that "We are LA" commercial. Now I'll be seeing you again in person on Valentine's Day. Along with us will be three newbie couples. I recently bought a small collection of magic books. Among the items I was surprised to find an old souvenir program (1990?)from the "Spellbound" show in Lake Tahoe which has you and your goose pictured in it! I'll be bringing the program for you to sign. See you Monday. Cheers!

Last night I had the pleasure of visiting Magicopolis to see Steve and Bozena's show Escape Reality. What a fantastic place and the show was great. Over 2 hours and there was a.TON of magic. Seriously a lot of magic. There is not a dull.second. Also, Steve has done a hell of a job figuring.out how to sell tickets.to shows.in.this.rough.economic.time
. The theatre was not.sold.out, but there were still a lot of people nearly 70 the.theatre only holds about 100 or so. Plenty of families. My hat is off to Steve for creating something.truly magical. Congratulations! If you are ever in Southern CA Magicopolis is a must. It is located in Santa Monica on 4th street near the promenade and the pier. http://www.magicopolis.com

I had an awesome time at Magicopolis last month. Steve not only put on an amazing magic show, he also impressed me as a first class gentleman.

There I am, a mediocre magician from Canada, and Steve treated me like a peer. He gave me a tour of the facility and had even sectioned off a couple seats in the theatre for my brother and I. After the show, we hung out for an hour or so and he even encouraged me to "get behind the bar" and show him some stuff.

Steve impressed me as an artist who loves the craft in himself, not himself in the craft. His love of magic and entertainment is genuine. I recommend this show to anyone. It was one of the better parts of my California vacation.

Hey Steve,

Is there a regular schedule you follow regarding which gal co-stars with you in "Escape Reality"? I caught Olga last time, and she was awesome, but I'd also like to check out the other performers, too.

Thanks,

Ross

Noble1, Farrell, SSG, rhiro - good to see each and every one of you at the show. I appreciate your support.

Ross, my alternating cast of co-stars includes Bozena, Olga, Eleonora, and Kira. Best to check on Monday by phone 310 451 2241 to see who will be appearing the following Fri 8pm, Sat 2pm & 8pm, Sun 2pm as the schedule varies week to week.

Words that come to mind about our show, Escape Reality, at our theater, Magicopolis, are luck and gratitude. No one is entitled to anything. We get what we get, not because we want it or we deserve it or because it’s unfair if we don’t get it, but because we earn it, we respect it, and only if we share it do we keep it.

"Well class, we've lost another pupil" just killed me. Thanks for posting the videos of your magic on your YouTube channel. Great fun, that!

Cheers,
Edwin

HOLLY MOLLY!!!!! I was working the Castle 2 weeks ago and Steve came by to see me work and invited me to his venue. So Chris Capehart and I took the trip and well there's nothing more to say than WOW!!!!! This place is amazing. There's nothing like it in the world. Its incredible. Its huge. It has what a 200 seat theatre where Steve does his show. I saw the afternoon show for the kids and let me tell ya folks, it just killed. When I go back I will see the evening affair as everyone here knows Steve Spill is one of the best that we have so if you're in LA don't miss this place. Its very very cool!

Great way to spend the afternoon and I will tell you Steve rolls out the red carpet. It was a great day!

Even better than last time. Like I said last night, love the new bit with that hats. On the way home everyone was raving about how much we enjoyed the great show. Keep up the good work!

The Vernon/Houdini routine really rocked Friday night! First time I've seen you do it. Hard to believe how you get such a small trick to play so huge for a big audience. Will we ever see you do the Voodoo Doll again?

I have seen the stage show three times at Magicopolis and love it. Very refreshing to watch a theatrical magic show with story driven presentations. Great job Steve and Bozena!
