Anybody performing Cups and Balls on a hard surface (i.e. table w/o tablecloth or close up pad)? I'd like to use mini baseballs instead of the crocheted cork balls, but due to the rubber ball inside, they bounce when loaded and create a noise. They also tend to roll away easier than the crocheted cork balls. :-(
Anybody got similar problems and/or a solution? Do I really have to use the cork balls instead when working on a hard surface? |
pepka Inner circle Uh, I'm the one on the right. 5041 Posts |
For a hard table with no pad or cloth, you want a monkeyfist ball. They can be had from forum member Frank Starsini, or James Riser. If you do a severe web search, you may find directions online to make your own.

Great! I'll get them from Frank. He's got some other great stuff, too!
