Ah not sure if I can post a link to an outside site. but if I'm allowed and this post stays, check the site. the magicians on it are mike robinson, long time FFFF convention participant/ventriloquist and his buddy jamie. they are both incredible talents and having learned first hand from mike.. I cant believe I'm seeing these sleights/tricks for sale for so cheap. regards

A quick dumb question... do they have permission to perform everything they're selling? There are a lot of big names in there, although granted, a few dead ones...

I think the entire site is quite awful. This looks like a readymade cheap webshop package that they are trying to make appear hip and flashy. It just looks cheesy. Why would any magician unleash something like this onto the world?

The design is what it is, we can like it or not. In the end, it is like discussing the store front of a brick'n'mortar shop, it often has no bearing on the quality of the goods sold.
$2 for a corner crimp is a bit steep I think, however this could be the best treatment of this 'sleight' and it's use ever produced. Unless we pay for some of the products we will not know. Most of these posts (mine included to be sure) are not opinions but speculations. Michael |

I just love people selling stuff that you can get in books. Krenzel's Pressure Hideout, for example, is in my book, THE CARD CLASSICS OF KEN KRENZEL, along with Lord knows how many other sleights, effects, routines, ideas. And, written/taught by me. Save your money. HARRY LORAYNE.

Between Harry's Productions alone (books and videos) no need to go anywhere. However they can and will lead you down loooong interesting paths if you swearve off the path and follow the credits. If you travel Harry's way, take the checkbook cause your gonna want and need many, many, products you come across.

I checked out the site. Not a fan of it from my initial reaction. But it has potential I guess. Will have to see where it goes.

I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to see what a sleight SHOULD look like. The riffle pass looks pretty good. I remember in the early 90s I had a hard time finding someone who could show me what it should look like until I bought Kaufman's video.

Harry says he just loves people selling stuff you can get in books.... well don't ya have to buy the book to get it , same thing only most of the students of today prefer to be taught by dvd. much easier to learn from I think. I think the services offered by this site are great the teaching and skill and easy to follow setup . ya cant go wrong, I for one will continue to purchase from this site as , the service is great and you get exactly what you want , unlike the book where you have 20 not so great things and the 1 in which you purchased it for
just my thoughts John |

The problem is, do they have the right to sell it?

Good question
it looks to me as if they have credited all the peeps involved, and it seems a lot or most of the moves and such are in the public domain most originators are deceased, but yet still credited (shows class on there part) until these guys do something wrong I think we should support them as they do have a good thing here. is that not what is supposed to happen ? magicians helping magicians? sticking up for the brotherhood ? if they are ethical and good then why not support them? I see nothing wrong or no reason why we should not help them do you??????? |

Hey! Glad to see Mike's site is getting some attention. The service, originality, and pricing are unbeatable, and I have yet to find another download video site as good as this one. Regarding crediting, they give credit to those they can find. Knowing both Mike and Jamie, I can tell you that they do research and give credit to the originators to the best of their ability. Regarding price, buying one of Harry's books might not be the most practical thing to do for a beginner, and that's the purpose of fasttricks, to easily cater to beginners in magic and teach the fundamentals. Don't get me wrong though, they have some VERY advanced material there. Internet downloads are just more in reach of a beginner and in some cases do a better job at teaching. However, any of Harry's works are an excellent buy for the intermediate and above card worker. And the layout of the site may not be perfect, but I don't see why that matters so much. It's pleasing to the eye and these are not people sitting at home with nothing to do, this site is on their off time from VERY busy schedules. This is also another reason the credit is not perfect down to the numbers, these people are extremely busy. Look at the Café, it is not the most modern sleek design either, and yet still is the most popular magic forum online. If any advanced people are searching for a challenging, magician/laymen frying poker deal...this site has it.
