A few rolls of duct tape might have worked!

See link: http://nmcs.stores.yahoo.net/warts.html

There are various ways to use duct tape on warts:

1. Patients apply the duct tape to the wart, keep it in place for six or so days, then remove it, soak the wart, and pare it down with a filing (emory) board.

2. Apply over-the-counter salicylic acid wart remover liquid to the wart before bedtime. After letting it air dry for a minute or so, apply the duct tape over the wart, completely covering the area. Remove the duct tape the following morning. Each time they remove the tape, they are debriding some of the wart tissue. Repeat the application each night, until there is no remaining wart tissue.

All hail Ross if he can get this guy to talk on Ballycast (translator maybe!?)!

Well, I really don't have a solution for that one...that was kinda rough.
Anyone know what happened to him? Was he able to get the surgery after all?

I tried the link at the top but from what I read ...... is this the giy doubed "half man half tree"? There was a program on Channel 4 (i think I couldbe wrong) a few weeks ago (just deleted it off our hard drvie).

The program was all for getting him cured and sorting out the warts for him. The program ended with tem saying "as yet he has declined any treatment". I guess he was making enough money from the sideshow / circus to make it worth while satying as is?

Thye did not really say much about hte circus he was with. They showed some of teh performers - all had different physical distortions of hte face (i think they were all facial).

They did show the guy who ran the circus - he was a local business man and seemed to demand his performers to turn up as and when he wnated them with little or no care for them (thats just the impression I got). tree man turned up to the show and was told to pull a van with his hair - he said he was not very sure about it and happy about it at all. of course he was forced in to it buy the organiser.

Seemed to me like it was a case of the "afflicted" beeing used by thoes who wanted to make money out of them. needless to say teh owner of the 'circus' was not the one trecking though the jungle for 4 hours to go and perform and live in rubbishy little rooms whilst waiting for hte show hte next two days.

Sorry to be of no further help.
