The Enclopedia of Pickpocketing series because it goes into a lot more asspects of performing than I thought it would and what a lot of what is thought can be taken into close up magic.

I forgot to mention Daviid Regal. I believe that he is the most under rated magician of our times. He has some wonderful creations that absolutely blew me away. I just love his cups and balls routine.

Still my all-time favorite.

So magical and fun to watch Tommy perform his Original routines!

The great trouble with magicians is the fact that they believe when they have bought a certain trick or piece of apparatus, and know the method or procedure, that they are full-fledged mystifiers. -- Harry Houdini

Up till now I like Daryls Card Revelations best - 2nd comes Daryls Encyclopedia of Card Sleights. This can change again of course once I find some really good mental dvds such as the Osterlind or Banachek ones.

I love parts of most of my dvds.. But 'The Amazing Guy' by Thom Peterson is really entertaining all the way through and has some great material on it.

I also really like the double-disc set of 'Party Animal' by Matthew Dowden. Again, killer material and entertaining presentation.
