I saw this at Blackpool.
Very good. But very expensive. I am sure there is another way...

It is beautifully produced and nicely packaged with lots of extras....Bib Cassidy has a similar effect as well.

Effect is great but ridiculously over priced. I'd rather buy an electric jig-saw and make one myself!

That was well done... I've seen a cheaper one on the market but the method was shockinly easy for a layperson to figure out.

That one had me stumped in fairness.

Thanks for the kind words. I published more information on my puzzle sets online at http://www.techsoc.com/puzzlesets.htm.

The original item being discussed, may be expensive but I beleive was an original plot. At least I had not heard of this plot before.Am I wrong?

Using a puzzle with an image of the Mona Lisa is original, but the plot goes back to at least Romark in the 1950s.

Curt: nice job! That is real value for money there.

The Mona Lisa effect is larger, gold frame. easel, etc...and there are additional workings with a list of artists, etc that do make it different...so as in many things the method is the same, the story is different...Cassidy uses a map of the US, Curt has really nice images.....

My sets come with Lee Earle's Puzzling Perception routine. His methodology is different from both the method used for the Mona Lisa puzzle and Bob Cassidy's unique method for performing his routine. If you have the necessary prop, though, you can use the Mona Lisa puzzle's method with the set I provide.

Sadly Im dissapointed with this and would not buy it. The effect was originally by NY magician Asi Wind and it ripped off by on of his students. I would say contact Asi and maybe he would give you a deal.. PLus any ideas he has on it would be ten times better, he is definately one of the top entertainers and creators around.

Actually, this effect was created by an English mentalist named Romark in the 1970s.

EDIT: I see Curt beat me to that one! My mistake.
