Ok...so two things. I need a shot glass...a large one with a wide mouth to accommodate Morgan Silver Dollars. I found a small glass measuring cup to use, but the Silver Dollars broke the glass quite easily. Any thoughts...?
Also...for those of you who do this routine, what is your preference...do you use a clear glass, or one that is opaque? I have always used clear but am thinking maybe now changing it up. Just curious... Christopher

The bottom/top of that hat does not look sturdy enough to survive the onslaught of Morgan's. Not to mention that at 5.5 inches in width, you need a pretty large span of the hand.
JMHO Cheers!

Yeah...I agree...but I DO like the hat for possibly another application. I'm watching the item...

What you want is a glass made out of crystal. They will not break.

The brim is only 5.5, the opening isn't. I have many hats like this.
Also, a shaker glass might be a better option. Takes the abuse of ice, thicker walls.
