I love the Hocus-Pocus.com promotions and the Penguin Magic promotions but my favorite online store is The Magic Warehouse.

I think for the prices Madhatter Magic is unbeatable. They also have a really nice and friendly customer service. Btw, MJM Magic is also pretty cool. Their shipping are extremely fast (only take 2-3 days here to Australia) and they also have 10% lifetime discount for members.
However, for the international shipping cost, Penguin Magic is still the cheapest that I found. Sometimes, the real shipping cost is actually more expensive then what I paid. For example, last time I only paid $11.95 for the international shipping. When the package came, I was shocked to see that the shipping cost is actually $25 (I think that's solely because of the heavy weight of Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic book ![]()

Have you guys checked out http://www.shopmagicvault.com? Its a smaller store. They do not have all the junk penguin has, but what they do carry is quality and the prices are pretty good. I have purchased from them often and try to mention them when possible. Other than that, ebay is the way to go! Im a juggler mostly, just getting into magic, so juggler stuff is cheap on ebay. All of my magic stuff has come from MagicVault so far.

I also like Hank Lee and Hocus Pocus because of their 25% - 31% sells.

I like Penguin because of the 10% discount, promos, wide selection, low prices, and good service (at least in my experience). I just received Darwin's 3 DVD set, plus a free Thumb Tip with my last order, for free!

Here are some of the nice stores that I shopped before:
http://www.shopmagicvault.com - fair price + free shipping coupon = unbeatable ![]() http://www.penguinmagic.com - wide selection, 4/5 services http://www.mjmmagic.com - 5/5 services, I don't like it's search engine so much though. http://stores.ebay.com/52-and-Jokers - where I get my cards ![]()

Mjmmagic.com is my favorite. Their website is kind of slow, but their shipping is incredibly fast. They also give a 10% lifetime discount once you have made your first purchase. They have been as good or better as anyone I have tried.

Penguin and Elmwood are the best I've ever come across.
Penguin: Cheap international shipping, excellent range, great promos, awesome customer service, decent prices, easy-to-navigate layout. Penguin: Good range, quality exclusive effects, awesome customer service, very easy-to-navigate layout, brilliant search function sadly lacking from many magic sites.

I keep coming back to Penguin.
Can't beat their prices and the fact that they ship free to Canada when others charge a hefty amount? It's a no-brainer. I've always had great service. I have ordered tons of stuff from them over the years (more than I care to admit lol) |

Gotta put a plug in for Brad Burt's shop - http://www.magicshop.com. His on-line catalog is a bit smaller and his web site isn't as flashy, but he's a great guy to work with. He answers email, and he's on the Café so you can PM him. If it's not shown on his site, ask him and he can probably get it.

My vote goes for MadHatter Magic Shop, simply because I've spent more $$$ with them than anyone else this year. I also like Penguin, and check with them before buying anything. The free shipping is hard to beat.

Does anyone know of any online magic shops in South Africa. I have found http://www.magicshop.co.za - but they don't have that much stuff? If there are any SA magicians out there your input will help. Being in SA means currency conversion. Eg. $3000 is equal to R 7500 for a monthly salary. I recently spent $300 on tricks, which is 10% of the "salary", but in SA, R 750 (10%) can't get you a fraction of the stuff that $300 does. I would have to spend aproximate 36% of the R 7500 to get the same amount. PLUS, there are foreign shipping cost, insurance (cause things do go missing) and not to mention inport tax! All in all, I would really like to have an SA site that sells more than the one I mentioned. We don't even have magic shops you can physically visit....so far I spent about R 6000.00 and that is not the same "value" as $550!! Well, It's 2 and a half times more than my rent!
