I purchased this chop cup from Paul Diamond at his shop in Ft. Lauderdale circa 1971. It is 3" tall with a mouth measuring 2 7/8" diameter. It is aluminum and the balls measure 1 1/8" in diameter. It looks like a Morrissey cup, but I don't recall the manufacturer. Any ideas who made this cup?

I grew up in Paul's shop in the Sears shopping center there in Ft. Lauderdale. Paul had a machinest that machined a lot of effect for him. This was most likely made by Paul's machinest.

One of his Machinists was Art Franklin ....Art passed away suddenly a few years ago. Paul Diamond used several different machinists over the years.
That chop cup looks just like the cups that Art did for Paul.

Thanks Jake and Mobius303, this cup is dear to me as Paul was like a mentor to me. I used to spend all my spare time and money at his shop while attending the Art Institute in the early '70s. He showed me some fantastic magic back then and I always walked away amazed with his SOH with cards and coins.

Dom.
