I have a pair of suede Ferragamo ankle boots that I absolutely love. They are rather obscenely decadent, but work really well when worn with an understated outfit.
I think the Frye harness boots are a wonderful classic American look and fully intend to buy a pair in brown for next fall. Boots are kind of ridiculously flamboyant - but I am a professional magician after all.
