Bill Palmer does, and is very knowledgeable.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

I play blues guitar as well as slide so open tuning makes sense to me but I never really got it goin on with banjo. My sons are musicians and can both hold their own on one!

Okay, so what style is everyone playing. I'm pretty strictly a clawhammer player. And you?

I don't play banjo, but I'd like to learn. Magic George plays, however. He's also VERY good looking.
Actually, I do fiddle with the banjo. But I've never banjoed with a fiddle. I can yodel, but not as good as Bill Haley could back in the day. (Mark, I do put picks on a lot, but I stink with them on. My partner likes my attempt at Scrugg's style better than my clawhammer, because he has no taste, so when we perform it's about 50/50. At home I frail that banjer! and apologize to no one--not even the neighbors.) Jeff |

I don't play the banjo, but I just bought a banjo case to use for busking.

I actually got the joke. Not sure the play holds up much anymore though. Probably not, we set it in the time period to try and keep it authentic. (When Orson Welles did it as a "Hallmark Hall of Fame" they 'updated' it, to the detriment of the script, I thought.)

I play a little guitar. I'd like to learn the banjo. I used to watch Tony Saletan on tv when I was a kid. Anyone remember him?
