On the episode where the Messiah, where Derren Brown causes all the people in the audience to close thier eyes and fall back onto their seat. Is there a book or DVD that I can reference to recreate this. I think this would be a perfect part for an act that I am creating.

I can't remember where I read it, think it was a hypnotism book though.. Maybe one of Ormond Mcgills. Try the "You are getting sleepy..." forum.
(It might have been the New encyclopedia of hypnotism by ormond mcgill, I'm not at home though so can't check.) Andy
The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words.

Take Ormond Mcgill falling backward test in The New Encyclopedia of Stage Hypnosis and apply it to a group, there's nothing preventing you to change the scripts and make it into what you want.
If it doesn't work, get back to the drawing board. It's in the chapter ''waking hypnosis'' I think, if it's not it's in the first few pages. M.
