One of the Forum sponsors does have nice looking alphabet cards of sort:
http://www.creativemagic.net/flashcards.htm But I'm sure if they do or could produce mini/jumbo though? It might be worth an ask because they do list a few "trick" decks on the site. |

Have a look at the children's department. There is a game called "Scrabble ". For this game there exists a card version too.

As of today (2010-04-22), Bicycle back alphabet cards are available for about $15 from magictricks.com and internationalmagic.com (URLs below).
I usually use the Creative Magic cards (www.creativemagic.net) because of the way they handle, but I'm not wild about their backs ("ABC", which makes them one-way) or their faces (letter plus a picture). Still, they clearly aren't playing cards to laymen, and that's a Good Thing in many cases. I've bought the Piatniks, but I don't like the looks of their letters. I'm ordering some of the Bicycle back ones from below, so I'll see how I like them when they arrive. http://magicshop.magictricks.com/Alphabe......672.html http://www.internationalmagic.com/acatal......cle.html Stan |

I believe THe Magic Warehouse sells these in bikes.
I bought to packs of Red Backed Bikes on ebay. that was the best price I could find. There kind of expensive for what they are. You could of course buy a blank deck and print your own using a rubber stamp alphabet. You can find these at many stores. Pretty easy to do.

Probably not the best card stock in the world, but here is a $6.00 Alphabet deck.

The "$6.00 Alphabet deck" is of medium quality...better than most souvenir decks, but worse
than a standard Bicycle deck in feel. The "M" and "W" lack an underline, so there is some possibility of confusion between them. There are a couple of letters you get only one of (Q and X), unlike Creative Magic's where you get two of everything. The Bicycle back ones I mentioned above, and the $6 ones, both use a very angular typeface that is, to me, unattractive. The Bicycle back ones have an underline under one of the "M" or "W" (I can't recall which, but not under both of them). Otherwise, the faces are very similar. |
