If any of you have'nt read a paperback book called 'Secret Fighting Arts of the
World' by John F.Gilbey do try and get a copy. It is such an entertaining read about martial artists who have mastered the use of 'Ki' 'Chi or Prana. An amazing read. Some of his true stories I would take with a pinch of salt but it really made me think.

After years of training in submission grappling and muay thai (mma), I just recently fell in love with boxing. Just something about it.... I was fortunate enough to find a great trainer in my area.

I am 1st degree black belt in Taekwondo, was first style I trained in. Have a knee with some bad ligaments to prove it at the age of 34. Too much stress on the joints for a bigger guy Have trained off & on in Aikido & Aiki-jutsu. Was introduced to Zen meditation as part of aiki-jutsu training. Zen made allllll the difference. If you can't sit still for 15 minutes a day, no way can you quiet your mind in a real life or death situation and give yourself (or others) a chance to survive.
Thanks for the thread, Sean
