I finally ordered a Johnson expanded half shell (US Kennedy heads side.) I can't wait...it was shipped yesterday. I can finally practice an entire chapter in Bobo's that has gone completely untouched previously. Just thought I'd share my excitement.

Ye ha I can remember my first Johnson shell I bought from hank lees magic factory in boston. Great stuff.

That's great .. I bought a Johnson shell a while back .. at first I didn't think that it matched my coins to well but after a while the color and ware just seemed to match up like magic Smile ... Enjoy your you gaff Smile

Once you have gotten used to that, try morgan dollars. They show better and you will love the feel. Forget johnson and move up to Lassen.

Congrats!! you can have a world of fun with an expanded shell. I actually use a tails side expanded shell with a copper/silver coin. and polygonsmagic is right once you can get some lassen coin gimmicks you will never look back!!

It came today and it is amazing...I put it on the table next to 3 other halves and my asked my wife if she would examine the coins...she could not detect it!!
