It's funny that people think this is offensive to non-white people. If someone made a web-site called "Stuff Black People Like" it would immediatly(sp) be percieved as offensive stereo-typing.

Magnus seems to be under the impression the web-site is called Stuff Only white People Like. Although, some of the suggestions are amusing because they are somewhat unique to the caucasion(sp) some are funny because of how we embraced them (i.e. sushi)

It's blatantly a bit of fun, were white people can laugh at themselves (and any other person of any other race can feel free to join in).

Except the French.

They're gits.

LOL good point about the title.

I guess if you don't like my humour, it indicates that I didn't understand the original, eh?

I just thought it was stupid and wondered why anyone would bother to read it - let alone write it.

It's like that 8yr old who said "his guys where gunna' 'ssasinate the pres'dent." No-one seriously believes that the kid has "guys" or that any "guys" he has could 'ssasinate' anyone; it doesn't irritate people because it's feasible, it irritates people because it's stupid.

You are right about one thing, if a blog popped up covering "Things Black People Like", the ACLU, NAACP, and everyone else you can think of would be all over it.

Whew! It's a good thing everyone could see how serious Dustin and I have been in our short lists. If we didn't have such wise people telling us what to think, what kind of a mess would we all be in?

Thanks guys!

I think Magnus and Dustin have completely failed to understand the point of the blog.

Yes, thank you all. Surely I would be lost without you.

Is it suppose to be ironic? Because you know how we white people love irony Smile .

I think I'll go put on a scarf, a pair of new balance shoes, and some shorts - ride my bike to the farmer's market (can't go to Wal-mart after all), and go make friends with some black people . . . or better yet, some gay black people. . . yeah, gay black people, awesome. . .

Ah jeez, I dunno, maybe I didn't get John and Dustin's lists. I suppose we all see humour in different things. I did laugh at Dustin's "find the joy and strangle it" remark.

What a waste of time this thread has become.

I just wanted to share a link I found funny. You don't need to agree with me. Just leave us to our fun

Nicholas, we're mocking the blog with a similar type of humor. This is our attempt at joining in on the laugh.

We've since expanded the list with new "Stuff White People Like".

In reading this thread I have decided I hate white people.
Magic is doing improbable things with odd items that, under normal circumstances, would be unnessecary and quite often undesirable.
