If the weight factor bothers you, then I recommend using one of the other handlings in the demo. I personally rarely use the in the spectator's hands handling... my favourite is the card handling ala Chair Suspension. It gets great reactions, especially with build-up and discussing gravity.

Steve directly contacted me with this, which I believe is direct from the instructions:
"At this point I ask the person I will be performing the effect for to, "Hold the fork for a moment like this." as I extend my empty hand as a fist with the thumb on top. Move the thumb up and down indicating that they should pinch the fork under their thumb. Place the tines of the fork under their thumb and let them hold it. In this position they can feel the weight of the fork and it is amplified by leverage due to the way they are holding it. It will feel like a normal fork. Try it and you'll see."

There is an odd thickness to the middle neck of the fork that is noticed from both sides...this thickness is not a function of the effect but the design of a typical single-use cutlery made of this material. It is a solid contender for a future S.S. Adams joke fork novelty sold for under 10 dollars...however still at the price of 10 dollars it will still disappoint many if not most. |

I wholeheartedly disagree. I don't know what you've done to your fork but mine doesn't bend at all... in fact it's made out of some rather strong material.

Is yours made of a "rather strong material"? With that cool G-Force name and at that price...I hope so. |

Sorry for going OFF TOPIC.
If one really wants to get a feel of the REAL G-Force effect, try out the Devil Hook Balance Gimmick. This is a small but well designed plastic prop costing a paltry sum of $0.75. It defies all laws of gravity. Basically works on the principle of shifting of the Center of Gravity. All you need is a normal men's waist belt. I have it and I use it regularly. It's a real wonder and a puzzler for the spectator(s). At the end of the show I give it out as a souvenir to one of the audience members or an assistant. I have my name & contact number printed on the prop. The best part of this effect is, when the belt has been put on the hook & the hook is made to balance on yours or the spectators finger tip, another spectator can hold the two hanging ends of the belt and try to pull down so as to dislodge the hook. But with all the force applied the hook will not fall. Of course the hook may slip off the finger tip/ table edge. Get it! Try it!! And see it for yourself. You will love it. It's amazing. Back ON TOPIC WARNING: Speaking from personal experience, avoid placing the hook on a ladies finger (tip) with long nails. If the hook slips it can badly hurt/ break the nail. P.S. Nothing to attach or take away. It's a simple plastic hook. That's it! The hook can be examined before, during & after the effect.
