Has anyone done a review of it?

Illusion and magic is the same, if it was possible to achieve the impossible by genuine powers then it wouldn’t be impossible and therefore it wouldn’t be magic. That’s why magic is an art; the art of creating the illusion of the impossible.

It is not about the Magic behind the Magic. It is about the BUSINESS behind the Magic.

Yes, too many magician forget that magic is a part of show business and that, in show business, the most important word is business. David didn't overlook that part. There are plenty of smart tips in his book about how the business should affect the tricks design, the showmanship and the magical approach itself.
Now David's experience is very focused on table hopping restaurant magic. This has some influence on his way of selecting tricks and on the patter as well as the length of tricks. For corporate venues (which pay much more) these advice would possibly be counter productive to some extent. For restaurant magic however, the book is the word of a very talented, experienced and thoughtful expert: actually David made two DVDs in French, shot on site in restaurants or public places, to illustrate the points in the book.
Magic is the art of emotionally sharing live impossible situations
