If you want the version shown in the video above, you can get it from
http://zauberzentrale.de/shop/product_in......ts_id=75 At today's exchange rate, that's about $160, so it's not small change. Bye for now Harold

Ever since seeing this done up close at a SCAM meeting a couple of months ago (by a visiting guest), I have been ogling this thing on John Rogers site! I finally placed my order today and am considering it my Christmas and Birthday present from my wife (birthday being 1/18/**). I think she is ok with it. LOL I cant wait to get it and start preparing to blow peoples minds!!
Merry Christmas guys! GlenD

The trick on the video is neither the John Roger's version of the Winston Freer Puzzle nor Zauberzentrale's Merlin Magic Elixir. It is a crude cardboard version of the effect and is being sold on eBay for around $20.00. The Rogers' version requires no stealing of any pieces to accomplish the effect, while the Elixir version uses a clever mechanical approach to steal the necessary piece with no sleight of hand or with no need to "go south" with it. The version of the taiwan video is the cheap rip-off version and does require that you steal a piece as you first display the pieces and dispose of it as you bring out the "extras." You get what you pay for. I still think the John Rogers version is the best, but then it is also the most expensive. The taiwan version is also cheap hard foam blocks, not wood or fibre material

The same type shown in the video is currently up for bid on the big auction site... Search for Merlin's Magic Elixir and you will find it there. Auction ends in 13 hours.

Very interesting set of puzzles. The triangle one is a classic, never thought about using a buisness card. Great idea

After reading all the threads about the Winston Freer puzzle I ordered the version made by John Rogers. He responded quickly, shipped the next day and I had the product in less than 3 days. He also did a follow up email to be sure all was well. The product, while pricey, is extremely well-crafted and worth the price paid. This is precision work and materials that should last a lifetime.
