I haven't seen a lot of juggling acts, so I might be posting one of those "It depends on your style" questions. The biggest improvement I've been making in my magic is to do less tricks and showcase each one fully.

I am wondering if juggling tricks (mainly 3-ball tricks for me) are entertaining enough to be built up individually the same way. I don't want to whip through 5-6 tricks in three minutes when I could really build up something exciting.

I find that juggling three balls with a comedy narrative is a good place to start. You may also want to include some comedy props. Remember just juggling will not hold their attention.

If you go to a regional juggling convention you will get lots of good ideas from little children.

Body language, and facial expressions go a long way with both magic, and juggling.
