Thank you, Steve, for this opportunity to share I.B.M. Magic Youth experiences and ideas with the Café patrons. It is our hope to present a positive image of the art, traditions and history of magic to the rising generations. I've already experienced first-hand the impact that accomplished performers and enthusiasts working with genuinely talented teens can have. Your generosity and support will help open new doors for the world's magical teens.
To clarify, I know that our Raleigh program is not the first, by any means. Many very active and fruitful M.Y.I. chapters have flourished for decades. Several Rings have very successful chapters today. Our goal with the Raleigh chapter is to combine the ideas and structures of these successful programs into an easy to manage unified program that every Ring can benefit from. Our handbook, forms and lesson plans are presented to help other Rings create or enhance their own youth programs. Please, if you have such a program. Your ideas and discussion mean the world to us. If you're interested in starting a chapter, we're here to help. To the future of magic! Skip

This is wonderful to see. I have been involved with teaching chidlren magic with the SAM's youth program the Society of Young Magicians now for over 15 years. I have been co-leaer of the Philadelphia assembly and we have on average of 30 kids ages 7-17 each year. I also try and help out on a naional level as well.
This is wonderful to see and if I can be of any help or assistance with anyone, please just let me know. It would be my pleasure to offer advice and thoughts and ideas. Kyle

Thank you, Kyle! If our magic traditions are to survive, it falls upon each of us to build the bridge for the generations that follow. I look forward to seeing you at KIDabra!

Thanks Skip. I have been involved in teaching kids magic for over 15 years now and I love every minute of it. It is a challenge at times but the rewards are always there in knowing that I am helping shape the future stars of tomorrow.
if you or anyone in MYI needs any help por advice from somone who has been running a youth club for so long, please just let me know. I would be happy to help give ideas and suggestions. In regards to KIDabara, I will not be able to attend this year although I would simply love to. So many people have asked me to go but I can;t not make the finances work this year with us buying a new home and also attending the IBM/SAM combined convention in a few weeks. I do hope to possibly get to KIDabara next year. Kyle
