There is a cute old silly trick tossing crumpled paper over a subjects shoulder to the amusement of the audience. It's been a long time and I have forgotten how it was done. Anyone?

You'll find it on Greg Wilson's "On the spot" dvd - it's called Head Over.
Really a bar stunt rather than a magic trick.

Thank you butI don't have the DVD. Could someone refresh my memory?
I tutor some young kids in 4th grade, do a little magic for them and thought they would enjoy this also. |

Thanks again.
I found several videos on You Tube as a result of your information. I know my kids will squeal with glee. |

This is Slydini's "Flight of the Paper Balls" and it can be found in Stars of Magic.

I was lucky (or unlucky) to have been chosen to go up on stage as a "volunteer" and have Mr. Tony Slydini perform this feat to a very responsive and appreciative audience. Unfortunately I just read a book that gave instruction on this effect and after the first vanishing of the ball of newspaper (It took a moment for me to catch on) I had to fake being fooled and made the rest of the performance more work for me and not much pleasure at all. I am not that good an actor but everyone seemed to think I was stumped so all ended well. At least I did get the full effect with the first vanishing so I do say it is very Magical when done one on one and lot's of fun with an audience. Mr. Slydini took a bar room stunt and made it most Magical. Iven

David Copperfield did it using eggs. At the end he ended up with a duck in front of the spectator.
