Lie Detector (Nick Trost). With the right presentation this is very good with families as I get most of the people at a table involved.

Sponges NFW: They think its over when they turn face down and then I say "Did you see the jokers vanish?(still holding face down)....Watch carefully....did you see them go?!?!" They look a bit disappointed, until you turn them over showing four aces! Sponges: I am still surprised at how well adults respond to this as well as kids. There is so much room for individual style its hard to resist.

Back at the end of March, Mark Butcher posted his intent to add the Ninja Rings to his strolling repertoire. I was wondering how well this is going.
Do you use the spinning ring link at the tables? How about the table link sequence? Dwight Powell |

F.Y.I. in case you were searching for David Williamson's 'Impossible Closer' it is actually called, 'Torn and Restored Transposition' from his book 'Williamson's Wonders'.
Carey Heim published a really nice version in 'Real World Magic' by Jerry MaGregor under the beforementioned name. Both versions are worthy of your attention. Though, credit should go to both creators for their work on very memorable magical effect. - Jared |

Well here are my tricks that get huge reactions. These are listed in any particular order either.
1. Red Hot Mamma (Chicago Opener) - This is probably the trick I'm the most known for in town. 2. Scotch & Soda - I get a lot of request from people to see this trick. 3. MacDonald's Aces - I love using this as a closer. This trick is magical poetry in itself I think. 4. X-Ray Box - I'm not sure if anyone else here has this trick, but it really spooks people out. 5. Rising Cards - When I use to use the high-quality rising card decks, this trick could really scare them badly. 6. Mental Photography - People watch this then they think they are hallucinating. 7. Automatic Miracle Deck - I'm not sure if anyone has ever heard of this deck, but its one climax after another, with a killer ending that really bites you in the butt. 8. Remember & Forget - This is a routine I got off of "All Stars" volume two by Gary Kurtz. I use ten selections instead with a surprise ending. 9. Mind Power Deck - Now if you really want people to think you are a genuine mind reader, buy this trick. IT KILLS!!! 10. Card to Wallet - I use the Mullica Wallet. 11. In a Flash - People just don't know what has hit them after seeing this one. 12. Ambitious Card Routine - I follow my card to wallet with this trick, and people flip when seeing it. 13. Deju Vu Deck by David Regal - I've literally had people drop the card (their selection) on the ground after it's appearance. Well, sorry that's not 10, but I get very strong reactions out of those tricks, Ed, (Eddini).
