I too liked Darwin Ortiz' handling and the 2nd and 3rd phases are beautifully clever, but since Darwin gives credit to Mike, therefore my vote in a way goes to Mike Powers.

Darwin, your ideas and handling are always superb, and an excellent resource for anyone.

I have recently learnt Bill Malone's version off of 'Here I Go Again - Volume 3'.
It's a good routine, though one where you need a certain amount of misdirection and confidence to pull off in places. It can only really be done seated at a table. I wonder if anyone knows of a 'in-the-hands' version?

Best, most overlooked version ever - Stephen Minch's! Published as a single item, and long unavailable - write Minch and ask about it - it is a ton of work, but a truely exceptional piece of magical theater!

Minch's book "Creations of a Magical Madman" has his routine.

Book is really hard to find.

Hey Guys,

I love the plot, everyone that likes it should check out the L+L "World's Greatest Magic: Cannibal Cards" DVD.
I really like Michael Ammar's version on that DVD!
John Mendoza also tackles the plot in his book: "John Book 2".

Also, FWIW, Me and Cameron Francis have 4 new effects based around the plot coming out soon: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......um=218&0

Best wishes,

Kyle

I personally like Jean Jaques Sanvert's version a lot.
