I was just thinking the other day how useful it would be to know the exact distance between objects just by looking at them... Never thought about using it in magic effect. I look forward to this release.

Can the tape measure be borrowed?

Jason,
can I use the measuring tape also in Europe?
Is the measuring only in inch or also in centimeter available?

Thanks,
Walther

Jason,

This looks like a very new and exciting routine. A few questions, can you borrow a tape measure or do you supply one with the DVD? As gitty has also asked, because I'm in the UK, if you provide the tape measure, does it come in cm's as well? One final question, is there a limit to how close or far apart the two objects have to be?

Cheers.

Kit.

Hello all:

The full information (including the video) should be up on our website by tonight I hope. You receive an Imperial/Metric measuring tape (ie. both inches and centimeters are on it), the instructional DVD, 5 scripts/routines, and the "something special". The retail is $50.00 US, and it should be available by the end of June.

Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you for your time.

Best regards,

Where in the world would you be performing that you could borrow a tape measure? A carpenter convention?

Me too, Nathan....I've suspected for some time that Jason has unlocked the key to the space & time continuum.....either that or a clever gimmick of some sort is employed. Me thinks the former!

Hi Jason,

This looks great. Could the prediction be written on a larger piece of paper for stage work?

I would say "yes", the paper has nothing to do with it....

Hi Mattillusion:

Yes, nathanpain is on the right track. The paper can be any size....you could carve the prediction on a wall if you'd like. The thought that I give in the instructions is that if you want to do this for stage, you could use microphone stands for example, and then of course you would use a large piece of paper/board for the prediction.

You also don't even have to use the prediction idea if you don't want to (i.e. you would just announce the number before it is even measured, etc.), but I don't think that is as powerful. As you probably read in the ad copy on our site, the presentation that is written and then shown on the demo is just a "bare bones" effect. The trick comes with 5 different scripts and presentations, and I'm sure many of you will develop your own. There are so many possibilities for The Space Between.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or thoughts. Thank you for your time.

Best regards,

How about a stage technicians tape measure? How about a tape measure laying around an office environment? Maybe even a hardware store? I don't just perform in fancy restaurants...
