Hi,
I am going to be in Fort Myers Florida starting this weekend and was wondering if there were any shops in the area within a 30 minute to 60 minute drive? Everything I've found so far is 2+ hours away. Thanks in advance. |

There's a small shop in Tampa (www.magicshoptampa.com) Not anything on the order of a Tannen's or something, but nice stuff, and really good people. Marty's a really good guy.
Then, if you're up for a road trip, it's not all that terribly far, and well worth the trip is Daytona Magic.

Daytona Magic is definitely a worth while trip although it may exceed your driving radius. They have a huge DVD and book library selection as well as magic supplies, effects, etc. and if Harry Allen is not at any conventions, he will demo all the latest stuff. He's a funny and well accomplished magician that will make your visit a memorable one.
