Dynamike is correct, you are probably better off, watching the DVD, before you make any purchases of magic equipment. Because you really should fully understand how my routines technically work before you decide if you want to do them. Furthermore most magicians can see the standard props that I use (vanishing cane, appearing candle, vanishing candles, jumbo coins, reels, manipulation cards, match pulls, etc.), by just studying the video on youtube. The important equipment that makes it all work however is the secret holders, clips, harnesses that you cannot buy at a magic store. These unseen props have to be made by you or by someone that you know that is handy with tools and needle and thread. In my opinion, these secret props and the various techniques that I have developed, make up the important lessons on this DVD. As they can be adapted by a creative magician for all manner of effects. Levent,
I enjoyed wathcing your routine. How long did it take you to reset the act? That is, the time to organize everything back again and place all the props in their proper spots on your table and in your person? Larry |

Hi Larry:
The entire reset for the act was between twenty and thirty minutes. The reason for the shorter time, was because sometimes I would have multiples of certain items on hand like match pulls and flash paper flowers, which meant that I would only have to switch a new prop out instead of making something up from scratch. Just finished watching Levent's Video 10 times. I think everyone interested in manipulation magic should own this video. Not to do the effects but to see how a genius thinks. There is always questions about how to put together an act and what order to use. This video can set you thinking and be creative. Not many are willing to share there talent as Levent has done for us. Just plane wonderful thinking on the part of a person who has done it. If you ever wondered if something would work, this guy proves it will. The only part of the video falls short is explaining is pockets built into his coat and his pant leg. If he used a Taylor or not, etc. The LuBrent Blend-o-Bills were sold through Magic, Inc. out of Chicago, IL, they may still be available, if you check with them. The new owners are not very good at responding to questions so keep trying. Thank you, Levent for a very good experience. Everyone should a least thank you for your generosity.

Hi WnHegBil & Mike:
Thanks for your comments In answer to WmHegBil's questions: I made sewed the load pockets myself out of black satin. I was also careful to align the material so that load items flowed out of the pockets along the grain of the fabric. This helped a bit to make sure that the loads traveled with the least amount of friction. The pocket on my trouser was made by a tailor in Atlantic City. I guess I could have done it myself, but I was afraid to sewn anything that is on the outside of the costume. I knew Lu Brent when I was a kid, but I purchased his Blendo Bills from Tannens. I know Tannens quit selling them years ago and I would be surprised to see if Magic Inc. still had them. Because, I believe Lu actually made them up for sale and I think he's been gone quite a while now? Frankly I purchased the trick once and then I made them up myself for use in my act. It's pretty easy to do if you know how. Levent

Hey Levent,
Really enjoyed your old manip. act. As others mentioned, lots of magical moments, really no "down time", the thing just pops. The use of "standard props" was great. The blocking of the act kept things hopping too. When I get one place for more than a week or so, I look forward to checking out some of your products. I think you salt pour equip. would be a good addition to my current stage salt passe routine. Thanks for hanging out, Johnson |

Just wanted to publicly thank Levent for his assistance. He took the time out of his busy schedule to answer a question I had on his pant leg pocket on the DVD. He even set me a picture of it with ruler guides. What a great guy to help a fellow magician and answer a question beyond the minimum answer.
