Hi
Mimesis advertises a Morgan dollar lethal tender set. I have tried using a shimmed card and magnetic coin before but the coins have been too heavy for the props that I have. Has anyone tried this particular set? If so, does it work well? John Here is the link http://www.mimesismagic.citymax.com/cata......1374.htm

Hard to picture it would still look like a regular card, that's a lot for the card to hold onto. Jim
Also known, when doing rope magic, as "Cordini"

I would assume the coin set was the same as a 'standard' leathal tender set, in that there is very little for the card to hold onto.

I agree Carducci,
I doubt there is a weight issue in this and even if there was I have a gaffed card that looks and flicks like a regular but is actually fairly ridged! I know, I know.... "can it be examined", no but then again I don't let people handle my props regardless! |

I too have tried to contact them and there is apparently nobody home. There is a note that says they are on vacation but the website seems to have been dead or dormant for some time.

Interesting that they use Steve Dushheck's name in their ad. Anyone know if they pay Steve a royalty for making copies of his trick? Or at least a royalty for using his name to advertise it?

I have tried to contact them 4 times and nothing. I think they are non existent. It would be nice to get a Morgan dollar gaff.

Steve sold the rights to lethal tender or he would be very very unhappy. About the only things he makes for this trick is the photo ID card to replace the bicycle card, but he is retired now and only sells stuff like that to his old friends. I have been looking everywhere for a leather wallet to replace that cheapo plastic one that they supply with this trick these days. If you know where I can find one please PM me.
