I did review everything. I am going give it to Kyle for the magnets. I know it is good to give a gift. But not let's forget the #1 reason why we are giving it out, for promotion. The parents will be keep the magnets on the refridgerator so it can be seen by the parent everyday. Remember, it is up to the parent to make the phone call, not the child. The type of promotional things kids play with everyday can be destroyed or worn out. When the party comes the parent ask the child to give the promotional piece, but it is gone or lost. But the magnets will stay in place everyday throughout the year.
Posted: Jun 20, 2008 3:35pm Another way to look at it is kid's will not understand a business card is a promotional item. They might get home and keep it for themselves without showing mommy or daddy. A balloon can pop, there goes your $200 show. It will be important to explain to the child to give the promotional piece to his/her parents. |

Thanks Mike. You can also design the magnet in such a way that is is fun for the child as well. Magnets can be designed in numerous ways and do not have to cost you that much. It will be used and seen every day by the person using it and his or her family. It is always right there whenever they may be in need of your services. Just make sure that it is designed with the same quality as your own show.

The magnet should be the only thing given for schools. If we get a call dealing with one of the magnets, next give out a goodie bag with a few different promotional toys as a thank you gift at the kid's party.

Certainly can work. But no mater what you use, make sure you are tracking them. You need to know where the gigs are coming from.

Dynamike -
While I'm not aware of any magician-shaped promotional magnets, here's a link for rabbit-shaped promotional magnets. There are also playing card-shaped promotional magnets. I thought you'd appreciate the links. - Donald
