Yes, I, the evil Santa, attended a piece rally this weekend. Some one has to stand up for those being hurt by the problems of the day and, dang it, I was proud to stand up for them. All I am saying is give piece a chance.....
Oh, and congrats to my niece who is now my nephew who got married a few weeks ago to a lesbian who hated a woman in the early 90s who I disliked in the early 80s but in different states while in the same situation and found a common bond. Lovely gal and a small world. |

No War? Oh, you are confused...you see our local joy joints are losing 20% of their business because truckers can't afford, uh, extras after buying fuel. I may be the only magician in the county but I'm not the only one doing tricks..... (note to puritanicals, every thing mentioned is fully legal, so think of it as McDonalds without the fries).

That's a terrible price to pay.
I just hope that somehow they can keep on truckin'. Destiny BTW magicsanta - did you ever get your vege garden and chicken coup off and running? I saw a documentary with Dolly Parton about an establishment that accepted chickens as payment. Very happy folks too - all singing and dancing... |

Yo, Plastic D, question.
Ever hear about a show from Australia called Tuna Wranglers? It's a fishing show from Lincoln Bay, Australia. Just wondering if you could shed a little info, if you have any. Thanks |

Hi Justin
Port Lincoln is famous for its tuna fishing because Dean Lukin who won an Olympic Gold Medal in weightlifting was a bit of a national hero for a while years ago and then returned to the family tuna fishing business there. Also the owner of one of our most loved racehorses farms tuna in Port Lincoln. I had heard the name Tuna Wranglers but had to google it - made by a New Zealand mob for the Discovery Channel apparently and showed here last December. I have friends who are obsessed by fishing so I'll ask tomorrow and find out more. These blokes would even pass up a good piece to watch a fishing show (thought I should attempt relevance) and if they were driving those trucks they'd push them a few miles in order to save fuel and afford a visit to Santa's local joy joints. Cool. Thanks!
It looked very beautiful! I was in Aus. in 1980 and had a great time!!! Perth, Sydney -Bondi Beach, Melbourne. Now I see that you can walk over (I mean way over, as on TOP) of the Sydney bridge! Man, I would love to come back and do some of those things again. And I would like to see Porpoise Spit, from the movie Muriel's Wedding! I love that movie! Thanks again! |

I don't like the cinema - full of screaming teenagers - so I only saw Muriels Wedding on television last year - it is a great movie.
Yes we have bridge walks in at least Sydney and Brisbane now - I remember walking home drunk over the Storey Bridge in Brisbane when I was young and stupid but I never thought to do it over the top. Destiny |
