Josh,
That is the ugliest avatar I have ever seen. The rabbit is especially ugly! |

Have to point out; All parts of a camel are edible.
AS A Great collector could you please direct us to any other/better places to hunt down or chase after cups and other magic and associated materials. There must be other instances of on line bidding out there. Thanks in advance. P |

Ebay is probably the best overall. Kenna Thompson and Martinka have some good stuff as well, but none of it is going to be cheap. The tricks for sale section of the Café is good too, but you don't get to bid.
Basically, it's like the days right after the Kingston Trio had their first big hit 50 years ago. When I was in High School, I went on a trip to New Orleans with my folks. We were walking around the Old Quarter, and I went into a pawn shop. There were literally DOZENS of turn of the century and later banjos hanging from their pegheads, from wires stretched across the shop. You could get a beautiful Fairbanks Eclipse model with the Man in the Moon peghead for $25.00. Other wonderful instruments were similarly priced. Three years later, they were all gone. Now, if you go into a pawn shop anywhere and see a banjo, the chances are it is less than 20 years old and made in Asia. If I'd had a crystal ball when I was a kid, I'd have bought a dozen or so of those old banjos, which I could have sold later for multiple thousands of dollars. I would have bought a couple dozen sets of Bertram, P&L and Paul Fox cups. But I didn't. Ebay is not my primary source of cups these days, although I run a search on eBay at least five times a day. I also have friends who watch eBay for me. I also have a network of friends who are collectors of other items. They find cups, I find things they collect. We trade. There are other magic auctions, but most don't have many sets of cups. Dealers are still the first source to try. I spend the same kind of time at this that most people spend at their jobs.

Chopped rabbit! What a concept!
BTW, there is now a set of " Indian Cups & Balls-Supreme Magic Collector Magic Trick" up for sale. The seller is in Australia. These may or may not have come from Supreme. They are Morrissey cups. After I asked the seller if he had any documentation to state that they had been sold by Supreme, he admitted he did not. You can still get them from Morrissey.

The seller seems to have decided that he will look for the instructions for me and see if he can find a connection to Supreme.
