Has anybody come up with some interesting routines using this gimmick besides the usual "make a quarter dissapear" routine? Or Coin through glass? Im thinking of maybe combining this with another rotine to add a layer of deception.

Name rings a bell but I can't remember where I seen or heard about it.
More info would be usefull regarding the gimmick without spilling the method.

I have used the sugar packet for the reapearence of the half and quarter. It works very well with the right routining.

I use it with the 'invisible quarters' effect. If you don't have 2 sets of coin unique, one set will work fine.

Martin Sanderson has a very doable routine on his dvd, corporate close up where the quarter disappears and is found under the spectators watch. Your so ahead of them it's not even funny

I sometimes load a penny (I have the UK version!) into a spectators breast pocket during another effect, so when I do the vanish under a shot glass, the penny appears in their pocket. Often, enough time has elapsed for them to forget I was anywhere near them!

I do a coin through spectator's hands as a warm up to (matching) signed coin to brass nest of boxes. I used to do the Sanderson coin to watch, but got caught every once in a long while. I would recommend the Corporate Close-Up DVD, though!
