I'm going to echo some of the same thoughts as others - Don't limit yourself to the books above - If you do - Go with Lorayne's book it's one of the icons of magical publications - The Ammar book? eh, not a bad book but well published and it'll look good on your shelf if that's what you're after - The cups and balls routine is good
The Harris books are wonderful - I read one of the posts above stating that Paul wasn't very technical?!?!?! - Once again a reason to read these boards with a grain of salt - I understand the Hoosier book is outstanding - but can't comment from personal experience. You might consider a copy of GREATER MAGIC if you can find one Dave |
