I have a couple ideas for printing on blank cards to make my own effects. I can feed the cards through my printer by lightly sticking it to a piece of paper. The problem is most cards have a wax coating and printer ink will not stick. Any ideas to make this work?

Use Acetone to remove the finish. Then after whatever you print dries, spray Krylon's Workable Fixitive (KD 1306)to put a finish back on the card. It works great. I have done hundred's of cards that way. The cards that I use for myself, I just respray if they start to lose the finish.
Hope this helps.

Wayne,
Did you get my 11-page guide to printing custom cards using the method alluded to above? How did it work out for you? Bob
