Hi all,
Does anybody know who can be credited for the bookmark that you use to force a word ( With a flap ) ? I am also looking for the origins of the Memo pad that you use to force a number / word or whatever you want. You have some numbers written on page one, and you turn the pad upside down to ask someone else to add those numbers ( Yours ) If someone can help me there, I would appreciate it ! Thanks again, Stephane. |

That actually started as a Post Card, and was used in a U.F. Grant dictionary test.
You don't actually turn the switch pad upside down. You turn it over. I think Robert Nelson may have marketed something like that, but there was one called the "Super-Mento-Block" that was made in Germany. Howie Schwarzman imported them under the name Super Mento Pad. It used a magnetic principle to keep the non-force side away from the spectators. These were basically a replacement for the Add a No. Pad that Tannen's sold for many years. Although they looked like a genuine desk pad, they were used out of context, so they looked odd.
