The most underpriced magic is anything from Doc Hailey's Gospel Magic. Tremendous magic and a very good price.

I would definitely have to say that the most underpriced is Skinner's Ultimate 3 Card Monte.

Healed and Sealed, Torched and Restored and Crazy Man's Hancuffs are all really underpriced and require little practice and no complicated set up. As to packet tricks or card effects Zoom and Cosmosis by Ben Harris are worth five times their price and Picture This by Richard Sanders and Limited Edition by Gordon Bean are really great. I have to say that despite their higher prices The Elevator by Peter Loughran and John Kennedy's Animated Cigarette are both really underpriced as well.

Like Bonnie Raitt said, "I miss Little Feat more than I miss being 8 years old." Thanks for the concerts + recordings, Lowell, Richie, and Paul!

I'll second Skinner's Ultimate 3 Card Monte. That item would be a steal at twice the price. I just hope they don't raise the price.

The TT will always be worth it's weight in gold. Also The Penny in the Matchbox is an excellent effect at a very reasonable price. As far as the penny in the matchbox goes, keep the gimmick and throw everything else in the trash. Who's bright idea was it to replace the cloth bag with a cheesy plastic bag? It seems that, as the price's go up, the quality goes down.

I would have to say that The Elevator is way underpriced. I just got it today and I think the author deserves much more for the original mechanism he created.

I've mentioned this before elsewhere, but ARNE'S CARD RISE still gets, well...a RISE out of 'em every durn time!
Best dough I ever spent. Right up there on the BANG FOR YOUR BUCK METER would be Robert Baxt's Ring Flight. I was especially intrigued (I mean aside from the low sticker price!) with the fact that it ain't a REEL! So there! |

Psych-Out by Bruce Bernstein. It is $10, but should be more like $40.

Hi all, definitely the Crazy Man's Handcuffs! The no tear torn and restored newspaper! This is a steal at about $20, it is the best value for money trick I have ever bought! Also a straight pack of cards!
Bye for now guys! Steve Dela |

Assuming we're talking about actual gimmicks (not just rubberbands or ordinary props), I'd go with the Invisible Deck. I think Penguin has it now for under $10, which is the cheapest I've ever been able to FRY a crowd of people.

PK touch. For $10, this will FREAK people out! But it's not as impromptu as it looks, you need a good atmosphere and good presentation to do it right. I just do it once so far, but it kills the crowd!
