Hey all,
I was just wondering where y'all get your bills for Extreme Burn/Prophet. I feel like kind of a dork going to the bank and asking to take out money- and then adding, "The crispest bills you can find, please!" Is that the only way to do it? Kind of a trivial topic, but since having crisp bills is so important to the "Easy Money" type effects, I figure I'd better know how to get them! |

Just go to the bank and ask for new bills... If you'd rather not ask the bank clerk, then take the nicest bills you have, spray them with a little water, and then iron the bills on the cotton setting... You get some fairly crisp bills that way.

If you want "extra crispy" ones, try some starch spray, then iron it you will get the nice and stiff texture.

Try other banks and credit unions.

I found that very crisp/new ones are actually more difficult to use-- they don't separate as well, so they're harder to count (at least with my dry fingers).

With Extreme Burn the main bill to be crisp is the one with the lip.

I have almost overpaid on more than one occasion because of stuck together bills, but I'm always very careful to double-check. Of course, this could work to your advantage (think R/S). And apparently a crisp bill is preferable for the specific effect cited, but I guess some of us don't perform that one or we would know that.

I hope they do not become too stiff. Let us know how it turns out.

I agree on crisp bills being bad for Extreme burn. If they are a little worn (though still pretty stiff), they flutter nicely during some of the changes. Otherwise, they sort of stick together and don't look quite as nice. Of course, if you practice with it enough, you'll wear it down a bit.

Good ideas, thanks. I will try to iron the bills.

We have branch banks in our grocery stores. I wait until they aren't busy, take my old bills and trade them for newer bills. That way, I end up with crispy bills but not new bills. I just did this today to freshen up my Extreme Burn, and the new bills work great without sticking together.

I've found that the best place to get crisp One Dollar bills is the strip club.

Herdman, he said crisp, not crusty.
