I know there was a thread started under "new to Magic" but I felt this may be a better place for this....

I just purchased Magic Vault at Magicvault.net WONDERFUL! It helps organize all effects... It lets you add photo's, patter suggestions, Description of the effect, Materials & Setup, Method and Presentation, notes, ebooks/files, etc etc....

In my case I had all my DVD's cataloged in Word but no place to tie it all together... this has been a great find for me. The fact that it's currently priced under 15 bucks doesn't hurt either.

Since I often do repeat performances for clients...it's a great place to note what was done each time...helps avoid repeating effects. Gone are all the notes I was trying to keep together.... Now it's all in the Magic Vault!

If you need something like this... I highly suggest you check it out. It sure seems to work well for me!

All my best,

Bobby

Is there any way to find out what field exactly are supported and what you can search on?
I am in a toss-up between writing my own or using an existing solution. I'd use it only for card effects but have some specific requirements.

Writing my own obviously gives me some advantages but so does being lazy :o)

Version 2 is Win 7 compatible. Unfortunately no Mac version (yet... that is our next project once v2 is out for PC)

Version 2.0 is coming out VERY soon. It will be packed full of much more features and functions.

Version 1 users will get it for free.
