Hansel: Bill is a good friend of mine and we have talked online many times via email. He enjoys the articles I write and I am grateful for always hearing his comments on them and for his advice as well. It should be a great time.

I have been to Louisville before and yes 4th Street Live is a very cool and happening place. lenty to do there and it is worth checking out if you get the chance to.

Ken: Anyone who lets a dove sit on their shopulder as much as hansel does.. has to have a good sense of humor. hehehe Sorry Hansel.. I had to. =)

I look forward to seeing you guys there.

OH if anyone has their cell phone numbers and does not mind me having them, please PM hem to me. The reaosn is so I can place them in my cell phone and can call some of you guys so that I is easier to meet up. SOOOO if you want to possibly meet up etc. just PM me your cell number and I will give you mine as well.

Looking forward to seeing you guys there and meeting many of you.

Wish I could make it. I'm sure you guys will have a blast. I heard that there is a discussion of Vernon/Marlo by Racherbaumer/Ben. THAT will really be a treat. Hansel, maybe you can FedEx me some of that Spaghetti and meatballs?

Ken, your info is correct. Even though I haven't been to 4th Street Live in a while, I remember having a lot of fun the last time I went. They have a TGI Friday's, a Hard Rock Café, a food court with some fast food places, a Borders, the Bowling Alley, the night clubs, and it shouldn't be too far away from the hotel.

Also, you all have got to go to a Louisville Bats game @ Louisville Slugger Field sometime while you all are in town. With a impressive 7 game win streak and counting along with a impressive roster of young talent, they may end up being AAA Baseball Champions! And to add to that, Louisville Slugger Field is one of the best fields in all of baseball, with no bad seat in the house, great in game entertainment, the Jack Dainels Bar & Lounge for your drinking pleasure, and affordable ticket prices to top it off! Info is @ batsbaseball.com

I can't wait to finally meet you all when I go on Friday!

Folks...
Please remember, it's pronounced "LOO-uh-vul," and it's slurred together as if you're pronouncing it in only two syllables, instead of three. Saying it as "LOO-ee-ville" immediately marks you as an outsider.

So, please repeat: "Ah luuuuuuv LOO-uh-vul." There are bumper stickers to that effect.

(And if you get the chance, remember that USPC is located two hours up the road in Cincinnati. The company just announced it's closing its Norwood headquarters, and moving to Northern Kentucky. Last chance to visit a relic...Haines is about three blocks away from USPC, as well.)
Cheers,
Steve

I do hope that my travels will lead me to Philly someday. Seeing it on the Travel Channel makes it look pretty and I've always wanted to try a proper cheesesteak instead of a crappy frozen cheesesteak from the grocery. And when are you arriving Kyle?

Also, while you all are in town, I think American Idol audtions are being held at Freedom Hall, so I was wondering how many of you all think your good enough to try out?

Cody, Cody, Cody...
how many times I gotta tell you that "y'all" is the singular, and that the plural is "all y'all," as in "I'll properly teach all y'all how to say it properly." (I learned that directly from A.B. "Happy" Chandler.)

I also notice that you've referenced auditions for American Idol going on next week at Freedom Hall...or as we used to call it, "Crumland." Just remember, folks, this is American Idol. I don't think there's much need at all for a singing magician, right?

Yes. I know.
Cheers,
Steve

Thanks for reminding me Steve, I'll keep that in mind next time or when I meet you when I go to the convention on Friday.

And Kyle, since I'm only able to go on Friday due to my pass being a one day pass given to me by the magic club, will you be sure to keep my sticker at the registration booth for me or give it to my Louisville Magic Club friends at the hospitality booth so I can pick it up when I get my pass from them?

Steve,

It's great being Grammar Host and teachin' folks to speak Southern. Do you think I could get work as an interpreter? Wait until they try communicating in Nashville in 2009. They'll be plum flustered!

Cody, we'll look forward to seeing you there.

As far as favorite things, with respect to the convention it's been the lectures, and with respect to Louisville it's been the friendliness of folks.

Brian,

I referred a $200 gig to you---How did you turn that into a $1500 gig? Smile Jen and I would love to have you and Lea here. Maybe next time. Smile

Ken:

I told her that you can't get Ken and every other magician is out of town. I am all that's available...take it or leave it. Well...actually...she left it. She said, "I think I will just get a moonbounce." Argh! LOL!

Hope that you had fun and that your flight is on time.
