Many years ago when I was 17, I was performing my dove act with a beauty queen, a new assistant. As each dove was produced , the assistant was to come onto the stage and retrieve it; however, she was distracted by one of the stagehands and never came out on cue.
Realizing she had missed her cue, I set the dove onto my shoulder. After I turned to reach for another prop, the audience began to laugh hysterically.

I thought I must have left my fly open , but after checking , that was not the problem.
After my act concluded , I discovered Dora the Dove had ***** down the back of my black tuxedo.

I was horrified to the point of getting a new assistant for the next performance. She might not have been as beautiful , but she did make her entrance on cue.

That is why Johnny Thompson trained his doves to do that, it is funny.

I like Kohl and Company's dove act as well. Although I don't think wiping bird stuff on a pretty girls back would go over well.
Maybe that's why I don't have any doves..I am sorry to hear that happened to you.

Not completely right... The bird isn't "trained" to poop on command. If you think it is, Johnny has succeeded in fooling you with a trick you didn't even know he was doing...

I know the bird does not do it, I've known Johnny a long time, but initially a bird did it to him, it got a big laugh and was left in once he figured out a method.

Good thing you weren't producing elephants.
