Can you make this up with UK notes?

I have no UK notes on hand so I don't know. This will answer and currency questions.
When it comes to foreign bills....LENGTH DOESN't MATTER. Its the width. If the bills are much wider or thinner than a playing card then its not probable. Later, Kranzo

For non U.S. currency, ff the bills are twice the width of a playing card, then no. But if it's close, I'd trim them. No one will even notice.
The gaff I made was very simple to construct and works beautifuly. I'm going to test drive it at the begining of the week.

With a little tweaking you can actually combine this with all of the popular versions of Pat Page's EZ Money or Flash Cash like Hundy, Heiney, Slow Burn etc.
From a deck of cards...to a fist full of mixed bills...to a bunch of Hundreds! Later, Kranzo

You can say something like, "Man! This deck is absolutely awful. I want my three bucks back!" And then boom, the deck changes into three bucks.

Wow that's hard to beat! I'll beat it though. I'll match Mad Hatter's offer.
They were offering the DVD for free with a $100 order. I'll send you the DVD for free with a order of $40 of merchandise or downloads on my site. Just mention it when you order. All the best, Kranzo

That's an incredible offer from Nate. I'm telling you, Pimpin' itself is worth allot more than $24.95. I use this all the time and the reactions are over the top. The gimmick is easy to make ( Nate goes over it step by step ).
I've been ordering from Nate for years and he has a great site loaded with worker material. You can easily find $40 worth of material that you WILL USE. http://kranzomagic.myshopify.com/collections/products

This looks great.
It also looks a lot like an effect put out by Jerry Mentzer in 1993 called "Royal Flush To Bills". Mentzer's is a fan of 5 cards, the "money" cards or a Royal Flush to bills. This was a very over looked packet trick that actually plays well. ACE Posted: Sep 9, 2008 9:23pm --------------------------- Re-reading my post I hope no one takes me wrong. I'm just saying that both effects have cards that turn into money. Both are quite clever. One could be used as a follow up to the other, or a repeat, or not. I just know the "Royal Flush to Bills" instantly resets if you are strolling, and can fit in your top pocket. And it fits in with a gambling theme. I'm sure you can do this with Pimpin, I just do not have it yet. One of my best friends in magic, Chet Lowe, gave me the "Royal F. to Bills" effect before he passed on. ACE

Yes there are several effects that involve cards changing into money, or vise versa.
Also check out Eric Decamps' effect Jokers Wild where at the end of a Wildcard routine the cards change into money. In my experience Pimpin is quite different in both appearance and execution. I played with the "packet effect" versions that turn to money but I never felt they were as deceptive because you had to hide a thick packet. Plus I'm not much of a fan of bulky or cluncky looking Elmsley counts....or any count for that matter. But that's just me. To each his own of course. Pimpin solves lots of problems for ME. And it has the added bonus that you can change the deck into several bills as opposed to just 4 or 5. You can change it into 20 $100 bills if you'd like. that's real pimpin. : ) As mentioned before you can also change the deck into a bunch of ones, and then change those into Hundreds. Essentially you can combine Pimpin with Flash Cash or EZ Money. All the best, Kranzo

Pimpin' is a one or two-three punch effect that is prefect for strolling or restaurants.
1) You approach and they say no thanks and you fry them by turning the deck into $100 bills ( or any bills as it's the change that gets them ). They may show interest for you to do another effect. 2) You approach and they are open to a card trick....which you can do and then...bam..turn the deck into bills and remove the signed card from your wallet.

Ace, I think it will be the first time a Magician would be rejected and not care and actually be smiling. I'd prefer for them to say "no thanks" just to see their face when the cards change to bills. I think it gives the opening for the Magician to give them a second chance to see some magic.
Maybe Pimpin' should be renamed to "The Perfect Opener"?

Another thought: I do a lot of walk around for a company with a big party building. There is usually a band and lots of stuff going on. Guests are almost always from out of state.
So sometimes they do not know me or what I am doing or what I am going to do. We have legalized gambling here. So they see me with a deck of cards. We have a reputaion of voodoo here. I've been asked to read fortunes. We have a lot of con guys and street performers(I'm not putting them in the same catagory, I've been there, and some of the genteral public thinks it's all the same). So I never know what is going through a persons head when I walk up to them at one of these parties. Some just do not want to be bothered. So if they think I'm trying to get money out of them, I can turn my cards into a stack of $100's, and say, "I don't need your money, I already got paid."lol "Now, do you want to see a trick?!?!" These parties are not always like this. Most of the time I have people dragging me around to their friends to show them stuff. I've also had them make an announcement over the PA that I am there. But this is still great to have with you for that moment that is eventually going to happen. ACE

This looks very nice, and I am considering purchasing the download.
Questions for anyone who uses this table to table: 1.How much pocket space is required? 2.Is it removed from the pocket in 'card pack form' or do you remove the bills and do what is necessary to get set... outside the pocket? I would appreciate any clarification.Thanks.[PM is fine.] Rich |
