Hi, there. Going through some magic props I inherited from a fellow magician, I came across the packet trick Time Out. It is a Homing Card effect that is pretty nifty. My only problem is the instruction sheet is copied on one side only, so I don't have the handling for last phase of the routine. I've played around with some solutions, but am curious to know what Phil/Max originally plotted. Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

Why don't you email and ask him? He's a very busy man, but I've always gotten a response to questions regarding his material. You can contact him through his website here.

I had previously contacted him. He's currently away from his library and couldn't recall the routine specifically. I'll try Hank, too; apparently, they don't sell the trick anymore.

The very ending comes when the blank card is laid down. You ask the spectator to tap the card to make the clock appear back in your hand. After repeated attempts, you turn the face down card over to reveal the clock has been broken.
