There doesn't seem to be many posts on lighting a small stage with anything other than Par cans. I'm looking at the Chauvet Stage Wash 1550 for lighting our stage. We typically have a 15ft X 15ft area and use a Spider backdrop. Our larger shows include a few illusions. Any thoughts?

It depends on how theatrical you want to get. I just want enough light to be seen, so I use quartz video lighting:
