All this talk makes me wonder - in the uk, there's something called the 'UK Info Disk' you can get that can help track down info about individuals and businesses. Also some Genealogy searches and obviously cross references with social networking systems such as Facebook. I guess you could have a partner use such methods to do a rapid 'Sherlock Holmes' on an unsuspecting spectator! I reckon for a younger spectator, it's suprising just how much they reveal about themselves on the web!

Strangely enough, today I received an email for 'upmystreet.com' so I took a look. You enter your postcode and it gives you a 'profile' for your neighbourhood - some of which could be really nicely used in a reading. Worth a look... and it's free.

I think a mentalist/cop might have better luck with the game. At least he could tell you when your last traffic ticket was.

Some of the discussions here are exposing quite a bit as to the methods.

Happens all the time!
I feel a bit misled now that I know Jay had been advised in private regarding this material, its use, release and distribution. I thought Banachek, Kenton and others had praised this work and supported it. Maybe they still do? Either way it does not affect my review, BUT had I known it was stepping on toes and that Jay had been advised by peers and professionals in private, I would not have praised this product like I did. Open mouth, insert foot! I do NOT think I or others were intentionally misled and though the ad copy is technically correct, it still lacks details that allow buyers to make a more informed purchasing decision. Perhaps I'm wrong there too? I've been familiar with this concept and application for a long time and didn't consider how wide spread it might have already become. I do think it has use and value for some though, if you don't already know it. Best of luck, Jay. I wish you well regardless of the outcome here. -Jerome

As far as a common trend, there is a clear and very identifiable pattern to this; in fact you could plot a graph to it. First their buddies may come along with the dealer ad and the honest enquiries, then those first-in-line buyers so high on excitement and endorphins they left their brain far away on Planet Earth some time ago, along with those whom it just happens to be a new area to them, next, first tentative signs of “hey guys, I’m not so sure. I mean, I showed this to my 6 year old daughter and she laughed at it and not in a good way”, then the bile, venom and reality flood gates really open up. Only then, eventually, do you get something vaguely close to the truth and something useful to people when it finishes balancing itself out. Waiting a little while for the real reviews to come out almost always pays dividends. Would have saved me one more time.
I expected more, much, much more for this area. More than I could explain. This is a footnote to an idea! An old idea! So you just bought your iphone? Is there no standard anymore?? This is around the same price as 13 Steps or Full Facts Book of Cold Reading. There are more advanced methods in this thread! “Imagine if you could approach someone you have never met before, and instantly perform one of the most perfect mind readings in history”. This will be genuinely misleading to people, even if in certain types of circumstances it isn’t technically outright lying. MT. |

HI
Yesterday I got the copy of The Game... everything would be all right if not for fact that I cannot apply it in my country - Poland!!!!!! it is a fraud!! Somebody is giving the script out about something and in the advertisement whether he isn't giving a thorough description to the announcement (not talking already about very method) that there is no possibility of applying it in all countries!! There are not only crowds of magicians in US but worldwide also in Poland which after reading the description gladly will buy the script... but unfortunately after receiving they realised that they cannot use the method in their country!! Somebody is earning money on someone's naivety!! It was necessary to write in which countries it is possible to use it!! I am not satisfied from the purchase and would take my money back !!!!!!!!!!!!! Sory for that but it is totaly irresponsible... Sorry for my english.. |

Hi Wizzzzard,
Where did you buy it from? Whoever they were, they should have included that information in the advert. The description on Jay's website says... "This version of The Game is designed for USA users, although some routines of the manuscript such as Game of the Imagination, remote viewing, and some mind reading pieces, can be performed by worldwide users". |

Hi Mark..
Unfortunetly there wasn't that information in advert in that seller... :/ I bought it at pengui..... and there isn't such information... :/ neither in other sellers like hocus-.... So I thought that it is universal... So my mistake... To the sellers - Please be more accurate with selling and advertising your products !! |

You're right - I just checked the adverts on the two websites you mentioned, and neither mention that paragraph I quoted from Jay's website.
So you would have bought it in good faith not knowing that the effect is "much more limited" (Jay's words) to non-USA users. This is not a case of sour grapes on my part but I really think that this is a case of misleading advertising. Wizzzzard, you are not the one who needs to apologise here... |

30$ is not a big amount of money... so I can tell that for that money I learnt something new...
I got to know the secret of the Game even if I cannot use it as well, I learnt that one should not believe in everything what is or what is missing written... So lets play the game... |

Ok I live in Germany Europe and bought this from a very well known magic dealer and not from Jay himself. Big mistake, because the ad on the dealers website didn't mention at all that this couldn't be used over here.
So after reading this little booklet I don't see any way how this could be used in Germany (and for some reasons this is one of the very rare occassion that I'm glad to live in "old europe". Cant tell more without exposure, the people who bought this will know what I mean...) Jay claimed on this thread that the basic effect would work in Europe - er, not quite.... Still I like "The Game " very much! And that's simply for the reasons that this booklet is indeed very inspiring (or at least it was for me) Since I got it, I was thinking in total new directions. True, some of the techniques and methods in the boook might be familiar to some of you, or might have even been disucussed here on the Café, but Jay has developed the whole concept one step further. His routines a very very well "designed". Again, this effect is useless for performing if you live in Europe, especially in a country like Germany. But it got me so inspired. I like it, it was well worth the money.
Never read the instructions!

I wouldnt say it's "much more limited" in Europe like Jay does on his ebsite. I think that's quite misleading
I would say: Theres no way that this will work in Europe at all!!!
Never read the instructions!
