This is the weirdest thing I have read for a while; I just thought some would find this amusing. I can't believe this guy could make such a generalisation anyway I thought his attack would be on Male Hostesses or Haidressers. Obviously someone forgot to open this person's eyes to the bigger picture.

Go figure he mentioned Socrates, Plato and BUGS BUNNY(????) in the same breath!!!
Next time I see a cartoon I'll have to watch the interaction between Bugs and Elmer a little more closely. |

I have to get in on this, That has to be the most hilarious proof of crass ignorance coupled with a whole lot of time on one's hands.
I laughed till I cried, but at the same time it is kinda insulting, I mean Blaine cannot be straight...just kidding. And Just for the record, Bugs so deserves an honourable mention, at least, among the great thinkers of the A.D. period.

That is the funniest thing I have read in a long time. But now I have just one more thing to worry about... coming out of the closet!!!!!
What will I tell my wife? Oh the agony, the shame. I guess I'll have to develop a taste for musicals and get a waxing. |

Good thing that site came to my attention. I guess I'd better become a "real" magician, dump my girlfriend, and move to Provincetown, MA.
That is by far one of the funnest things I've read in a long time. Evan |

Can't believe the small mindedness of some people; if this is the type of thing this guy thinks about enough to even write such an article on it, then it is clearly at the top of his priority list.
I have friends who are gay (preferably called homosexual), and they say it is the ones that are so against it i.e. subconciously denying that people are gay, these are the people who usually turn out to have homosexual tendancies. |

Sybil,
I may be missing the point here, but I think he meant it as a spoof. I mean, classifying Bugs Bunny as gay? C'mon. (Elmer Fudd, perhaps...but Bugs? Never.) A better question may be, "Was the spoof done in good taste?" Probably not...and it probably offended a few folks. Satire and parody routinely do. As you said in your first post, maybe "some will find this amusing." Read it...laugh/cringe...and move on.
Cheers,

Hey Kaj,
Aha!! I never realized it before but yes I always suspected the Hare Club for Men was a secret society!!! Only thing is, I always thought a lot of magicians belonged to that club due to being follically challenged. Hmmm can't believe I'm talking about Bugs...definitely too much time on my hands. Not only that, I've probably insulted 90% of my fellow artist....(slaps hands..tsk tsk) >>>goes back to reading Paradise Lost. |
