Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting a set of mirage coins, but as I said, I'm pretty much just a hobbyist. How complex are the required sleights, or would this set just be a waste of time/money for me? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

The sleights are taught very well. How far are you in coinmagic? If you are still new, it would be better to get some David Roth's DVDs to learn some really good routines and sleights. It would be much cheaper.
