I have had tons of requests for a miniature light heavy chest with all the power of my full-size models. The Mighty Mini is a mere 4" x 4" x 6", but don't let the size fool you. This little jewel is a real heavy-weight. Built from scratch in my shop, it is Collector's Grade Quality. It also offers a hilarious pop-off top handle as suggested by Magician Christopher Lyle.

Great!
I'm only making six of these at the introductory price of $150 just to get the word out. One of the six has been spoken for. You can PM me for purchasing information. Thanks, Gimpy

Gimpy, Congratulations!
This one looks beautiful. And for the price as well as the size this will be an all time winner. Hope this one works on the same principle as Gimpy's Light Heavy Chest? If so, I feel this model will be the ultimate. Good luck. Best wishes, Narendra

Narendra,
This box isn't the same as Gimpy's Light Heavy Chest. Spectators cannot look inside and it's not no-touch. This chest is just a small, but powerful version of a "standard" light heavy chest. I think it will amaze people just because of its small size, quality, & power. Thanks, Gimpy

I think your full size Pirate Chest is the equivalent to 110lbs in lift?
What is the pull on the new mini-box, and can it come with no handle for our more serious workers? The photo looks great! Thanks,Walt |

Walt,
It has the exact same power as the Pirate's Strong Box--maybe a bit more with the smaller center of gravity. The handle is pop-off and there's a piece of steel in the lid that is completely concealed by the solid brass laminate so it can be used with or without the top handle. I'm also going to offer these with pop-off side handles for the folks who want a comedy routine with a double-punch. Thanks, Gimpy

Hey,
Just wanted to let everyone know that the first run of the Mighty Mini is complete and began shipping today. Last month I sent the prototype to Christopher Lyle to run it through its paces. Since then, I implemented his suggested changes for the first run. It includes a stronger pop-off handle and I made a little more room inside for setting the gimmick. It's better than ever and I'm very proud of this new product. I'm looking forward to the feedback.

Hey guys,
I'm looking for something that can appear from inside the box that looks impossibly large and heavy. The reason the spectator can't lift the box is because of the impossibly large and heavy object inside. I was thinking of something along the lines of an appearing cane, or candle. But, heavier and impossibly large. I don't think the appearing ladder can fit in the Mighty Mini. Thanks, Doug Lippert

An idea I have is to routine the L/H chest with Bill Abbott's The Thing. The reason why the spectator gets so weak is due to the "The Thing" inside the chest that zaps their energy. After I do the L/H bit, I then use the silk to bring "The Thing" out to show them it is real. Just an idea. Another idea is for birthday party performers. Tell the kids there is some candy inside the chest and you need a helper to pass the candy out. You pick someone that isn't the birthday child and they try to lift the chest, "breaking" the top handle. (laughs) You pick another child and they break off the side handles trying to lift the box. (laughs) Finally, you pick the birthday boy/girl and they lift the chest triumphantly (like the sword in the stone) and they are the hero! Sincerely, Doug Lippert p.s. The side handles are an optional purchase through Gimpy. I'm really happy with the whole package.
