Hello Mike,

I'm a composer/producer specializing in original music for magicians. I'd also be happy to create something for you, so I hope you'll visit my website for a listen!

By the way...Bill's a great guy, so either of us would be a solid choice.

Cheers,

Steve Saunders

Some of the music sung by "Cora Corman" (Haley Bennett) in the movie "Music and Lyrics" is more modern with a middle eastern feel and might be suitable.

Do you mean Egyptian music for vox populi in Egypt -- ancient Egyptian music - or something that sounds "egyptian" to western ears?

I would try http://www.incompetech.com

The music is all completely free to download and use in live performances. There are many categories for you to choose from.

I have used this site also in the past to find just the right theme and did I mention its FREE!!!

As magicians we create what onlookers call magic. If they truly believe in what we have created for them to witness then magic is real!!!

The link, http://www.incompetech.com, took me right to the site and it loaded quickly. Any mp3 file I wanted to listen to or download also transferred quickly (depending on the size of the file, of course -- one music piece lasts 30 minutes!).

Good stuff, lots of variety, informative descriptions of each piece. Most are 2 to 3 minutes, but many are less than 1 minute in length.

Definitely worth checking out.

I do believe there is a fee on http://www.freeplaymusic.com depending on the usage. It is all explained on the site.
