Just wanted to share some photos of my annual visits! Vinny has always been a great friend to me and that is a given to most Café friends. Vinny and his lovely wife Sharon takes care of me when I'm in L.A. pretty much like my extended family. I can't even remember the dates on the pics but the pics are from different years. Just my way of thanking a wonderful friend. See you in March!

enjoy!

OMG
I heard Vinny's wife was a younger woman but Sharon is a knockout. What is the name of that song?

Nice pictures, Rannie.

BTW, C'mon! That was Vinny's daughter. Quit lying.

I like that song so much that I want to get it off lime wire to put on my ipod. I have found it by other artists, but not the version you have.

Al, Aguas de Marzo is a song by Antonio Carlos (Tom) Jobim, he created the Bossa Nova in the 60s and maybe is the most (or one of the most) important musician that Brazil produced. I think the best version of this song, and maybe the most famous, is him playing the music (Guitar and/or Piano) with Ellis Regina singing. (This is not Rannie's version).
A bunch of people sung this song, including Sinatra, but I think Jobim and Regina is the best combination.

The Pictures are very nice and looks like Vinny and Rannie had a great time.

Al,

The version I have is by Rossa Passos! I just lved her phrasing and play with the meter.
