It's really the feke (two, in this case) that matters. The feke is the part that is not a DIY item that most of us can make. (although Jim Riser sells instructions on his website for $5 on how to make them, if someone is so inclined. To me it's worth the money to buy them ready-made from Viking). The Viking balls are lighter weight than the Fakini balls, which in some ways is an advantage, but a disadvantage for other sleights where a slightly heavier ball is desirable. But good luck finding a set of Fakini golf balls for under $200 . Overall I'm quite happy with the Viking golf balls. They are as good (actually better) as the old Ireland Multiplying Golf Balls. I'm still surprised no one has stepped forward to fill the gap left by Fakini for silicone manipulation balls. There are decent "billiard" balls from Bond Lee, but not golf balls (made from silicone). Quote:
They are also selling a 2.5 inch jumbo finish ball For the Jumbo Golf Ball finish a 2.5" diameter ball seems a bit small. I think the Fakini Jumbo golf ball was 4.5" or 5" diameter. It's possible to make a Jumbo ball (hollow) with a 3D printer. You need to find a free hollow golf ball 3D model (stl file) then open it in an stl editor (Adobe Dimension is the app I use) , scale it up to 5" diameter. Send it to a 3D printing service. At one time Jeff Hobson was selling a 3D printed jumbo golf ball. It think it was around $60. . |

Just need to be sure they are in fact hollow , not solid, before ordering. *EDIT: I sent email to both of these companies . Both confirmed that the Golf Tee Markers they sell are hollow. These are 5.0" diameter (the photo on the website shows silver colored, but they come in white , too) - https://www.wittekgolf.com/Dimple-Tee?quantity=1&color=1 These are 5.5" diameter - https://sandbaggy.com/products/golf-tee-......81429353 Click here to view attached image. |

Has anyone thought to use a 3d printer to model a set and print them in the material of your choice?
